It's simple. GLBT Bookshelf needs a valid email address to include you in this Community, but this is the absolute limit of info we gather. Set your own username, keep private your own real name. You'll need a PayPal account to participate in our Campaigns, but any information collected apropos of this account is held by PayPal, not by us. To sell your books right off your pages here, you'll need "buy now" buttons or other links provided by Amazon, B&N, Smashwords, Diesel, Payloadz, Lulu, CreateSpace, Zazzle, Cafe Press and so on ... but again, those are your accounts, about which we know nuthin'.
All we know (need to know!) is your valid email addy, so you can receive emails regarding "Kitty Night" (the call to click a PayPal button for the $1 or $2 you'll be chipping in, helping to generate the Campaign funds which are used to get boat-loads of targeted visitors, all of whom will see your books ... some of whom will become your customers. How does this work?).
