The middle of 2010 finds us evolving new ways of doing things. The Bookshelf is still 100% human-driven, plus 100% volunteer staffed, and as some members would have noticed, keeping up with jobs which are less-than-critical can be ... difficult. This page is among the neglected ones, and for this we apologise! However, the time to keep up with this is simply not going to become available, so --
The new system is this: YOU know who you are, and you have your username and password! You can always log in, and if you've lost the URL to get back to the special "pilot" page which was made for you when you joined, here's how to find it:
http://bookworld.editme.com/username
...seriously! That simple. Whatever you set as your username is used to make your homepage. Say your username was IronManRocks65. Then, your homepage would be http://bookworld.editme.com/IronManRocks65.
So long as you have the name you use to login, you're home free. And your pilot page is pre-loaded with all the links to the tutorials you need to get wikiing in about twenty minutes.
If you know you definitely signed up, but can't remember what username you set (much less password!) drop a message to Admin, and we'll search the Members List for your email addy. If it's the same as the email you used to register, it'll match up with a username, and we'll have you back up and running in no time. On the other hand, if you're not sure which email you might have used to sign up -- just remember to quote whatever it might have been, and we'll search two or three times. You'll be in there somewhere!
