Nevermore

From Nevermore in Taste Test: A Day at the Beach:

Blurb:

As a divorced teacher with small children Ted has gotten more comfortable than he’d like to be in a self-imposed closet.  Will his lover’s relaxed outlook and discovery of Ted’s true identity help him see the light?

Excerpt:

Ted felt loose as he danced with the lanky redhead. The crowd was rowdy that night. The song was wild and his dancing untamed. His dark brown hair was gelled and spiked, and dark eyeliner edged his soft brown eyes. His low-riding jeans were worn and snug. His red T-shirt hugged his lean torso tightly. His underwear was nonexistent. He wasn’t Ted Rhoads here -- he was simply Raven.

When the song ended, Ted wove his way through the thick crowd to the bar. He found an empty bar stool and sat down. “Another ginger ale, hun?” Wayne was huge, hairy, and called everyone ‘hun.’

“Thanks, Wayne.” Ted smiled at him, then turned and looked around the dance floor, still hoping to see Caesar tonight. Caesar was his favorite hookup. He was three inches taller than Ted at six feet, with short, dark blond hair and deep blue eyes. But he didn’t seem to be there.

Ted sighed and turned back to cover his tab when Wayne returned with his drink. The ginger ale was cold and Ted downed it quickly. He never drank when he came here. He had a long drive back home and it would be bad enough for him, as a teacher, to get pulled over for a DUI even without being dressed like this. He also preferred to keep his wits about him when he was making decisions regarding sex. It was too easy to get lax on safety when drinking. That was always a factor in his hookup decisions, too -- he never left with a drunk.

Ted felt a hand at his shoulder. He turned and Eddie was standing there with a smile. “Dance, Raven?” he asked.

“Sure.”

Eddie would be a good fall-back if Caesar didn’t show up. He smiled at the man, who was so much like himself except for his lighter coloring. Eddie took his hand and led him out onto the floor. The song had a solid beat and Ted once again lost himself in the dance. His movements were abandoned and free. He didn’t have a care in the world -- he was Raven. No ex-wife to deal with, no rowdy school kids or their parents, just Raven and the music, which always ended too quickly. Eddie gave him a quick, hard kiss when the dance ended, then a wink before they separated to search out new partners.

Ted made his way to the edge of the dance floor and looked around. He saw a man staring at him from the other side -- tall and muscular, just like Ted preferred. The man smiled at Ted. Ted smiled back and started to walk around the room to join him when he heard a voice, low and sensual, right behind him.

“I was hoping you’d be here tonight.” That voice always sent a jolt straight to his prick.

“Caesar.” Ted turned around and smiled. “Always good to see you, babe.”

“Darling, you are breathtaking as always.” Caesar looked him up and down with a saucy grin spreading across his face. “Shall we dance?”

“Of course.” Ted put out his hand. Caesar took it and led him to the middle of the floor. Ted’s dancing turned more sensual with Caesar, and Caesar pulled him in close so their bodies rubbed as they danced. Ted closed his eyes. His arms went up around Caesar’s neck and Caesar held him snug against his body. Caesar’s hands moved down to Ted’s ass and gave his cheeks a squeeze. Ted ground his pelvis so Caesar could feel his hard-on.

Ted felt Caesar’s chuckle vibrate across his broad chest, but heard the low voice at his ear. “Is that for me?”

Ted smiled and nibbled at Caesar’s neck. “It’s all yours, babe.”

The music changed and a slow song started. Caesar tightened his embrace and Ted found himself molded against Caesar’s powerful frame. He nipped and licked along Caesar’s neck while Caesar kneaded his ass cheeks. He could feel Caesar’s arousal pressing back against him and knew this would be their last dance. They were going to be bouncer bait if they didn’t stop, and neither one of them wanted to stop.
