M. King (author, artist)

Vibrant, compelling fiction ~ http://lavengra.wordpress.com

M. King lives and works in a damp, verdant corner of south west England, where she may usually be found behind a keyboard and a vat of coffee. She writes across a wide range of genres, frequently with a strong GLBT bias, and also dabbles in cover art, being one of those creative types who can't stop fiddling with things.

Breaking Faith by M. King

Breaking Faith, her first novel, was released in October 2008 to wide acclaim, drawing rave reviews and comparisons to Brokeback Mountain, despite not having any real cowboys in it. Set in Northern Montana, the story is a hard-hitting, intense romantic drama following two young men whose lives are changed forever during one fateful summer.

Only Mortals by M. KingOnly Mortals, forthcoming from Red Rose Publishing, is a collection of seven unique, evocative short stories united by a paranormal theme. From stone circles to mythical beings, and even the darker side of life inside our own heads, each tale takes a different look at life, and love, where mortal and ethereal collide.

Note: readers may also be interested in the rest of my titles, not all necessarily categorised as GLBT...particularly Daemon, a paranormal suspense/mystery, partially set in England's gay capital, Brighton. It's not a romance and there's hardly any naked guys, but you might just laugh. ~M. King

COVER ART: As of July 2009, I am now also taking on work as a cover artist. Actively looking to negotiate with publishers, also happy to discuss individual work with authors. Email lavengra AT yahoo DOT com if interested. Thank you!
