WHO WE ARE

LIMINAL INK is primarily a writers' group designed to promote our talent, offer a safe community for expression, and break down the gender stereotyping of authors and artists.

We are open to ideas of biologically and socially constructed gender identity. We appreciate the broad range of sexuality that exists within the human experience.

It doesn’t matter to us where someone decides to live along the gender continuum or by what means they got there.

HOW WE GOT HERE

Liminal Ink was conceived in the fevered mind of HB Kurtzwilde initially as a forum where those authors who did not conform to gender normative expectations could let their hair down and discuss their writing. As time went on the membership expanded, each bringing a different perspective on the industry.

As group members often confronted challenges around promotion, Liminal Ink expanded to have an online presence, featuring the authors and our books.

Visit our LiveJournal blog where we explore issues of relevance to the gender-queered community.   The blog also showcases samples of our work, interviews, and other news.
