Lee Rowan:
I've been writing since childhood, but professionally only since May 2006, with the publication of my gay historical, Ransom. I'm a "lady of a certain age," old enough to know better but young enough to do it anyway. A confirmed bookaholic with a wife of many years, I'm kept in line by a cadre of cats and a dog who gets me away from the computer and out of the house at least once a day. And I am no good at writing 3rd-person bios about myself.
I've written 5 gay romance novels, 4 historical and 1 contemporary, plus several novellas. My first book, Ransom, surprised me by winning the first GLBT Eppie in 2007 (Eppie: Epic Award for Outstanding Achievement in E-Publishing.) Most of my books are available from Cheyenne Publishing (print) or Bristlecone Pine Press (e-book). My next book, Tangled Web, is due out from Running Press in December 2009. I live in Ontario, Canada, and on the Internet. Please visit at www.lee-rowan.net.

I've just learned that Ransom and Winds of Change are not available on Amazon-UK No telling how long this state of affairs is likely to last, but if you're in the UK and want to order either of these books, try looking at Tesco or Pick-a-Book:

Sorry about the difficulty!
I have a small stock of the Linden Bay editions of all the above books. If you're interested in ordering a "first edition," (autographed), please email me at lee.rowan (at) yahoo (dot) com.
HEROES UNWRAPPED "Heroes" is a charity anthology and my short story, "Gift Exchange," is the only gay story in the book; the rest are conventional boy-girl romance. "Gift Exchange" is set in the Royal Navy universe between Ransom and Winds of Change; plans are afoot to include it in the re-release version of Sail Away in 2010.
PLEASE NOTE: Time-sensitive info:
My former publisher, Linden Bay Romance, was bought by Samhain Publications in December 08 and my backlist is currently in transition: Cheyenne Publishing will re-release the print books, and Bristlecone Press the e-books. Ransom, Winds of Change, Eye of the Storm, Speak Its Name, and Walking Wounded are now back in print, and a new version of Sail Away, including previously unpublished stories, will be coming in spring of 2010. The Linden Bay editions are still showing on Amazon, but these are no longer current editions.
