Jeanne Barrack - Author

Welcome!  Find my website here.

Jeanne Barrack is a native New Yorker, born and bred in Brooklyn, married for thirty-odd years (and they have been odd) to her high school sweetheart. She now live on a mountain top in rural Pennsylvania. Jeanne plays guitar and studied voice privately with a Juilliard coach and has a Masters in Music Therapy. She sings everything from folk music to Grand Opera - in ten languages including Gaelic and Hebrew. Many of her stories draw inspiration from music. Her day job involves music therapy for seniors.

Jeanne writes both het and m/m erotic paranormal romance laced with historical subtext. The Sweet Flag, was her first m/m story and its IR/MC, erotic, paranormal themes garnered rave reviews. She also is proud of her participation in the I Do! Anthology for marriage equality, with her story Finally Forever.

Jeanne's goal for her m/m writing are stories set in her cultural heritage, be they historical or paranormal -- or both. With the publication of Bend in the Road, an historical novel set in the 1880s, Jeanne is well on the way to fulfilling this goal. Coming up for Jeanne is Aftershocks, the sequel to The Sweet Flag. This is the story of Kazvan, the villain from The Sweet Flag.
