NEED HELP?

HELP IS HERE. You can get bite-sized chunks of info online ... or download the User's Manual ... or talk one-on-one with Nan by email, on our Help Desk  ... or push the panic button and have someone build your content for you! So...

As February 2012 gets underway, the Bookshelf would like to extend a very warm welcome to Nan Hawthorne, who will be manning the Help Desk. Nan is very knowledgeable about wikiing, and if you drawn a blank after reading the tutorials, and it just isn't making sense, here's the email you'll need to have jotted down:

glbtbookshelfhelp@gmail.com

Before you  petition Nan, be sure to have a look through the tutorial section. It's easy once you get the hang of it! Where to start? Try this:

WIKIING FOR THE REST OF US ... a tongue in cheek, illustrated and hugely informative guide to how to do everything. Think of it as a complete idiot's guide ... with guy-candy illustrations courtesy of our own Jade, and the text you've been praying for, from Mel Keegan.

Or check out these handy PDFs:

(Trust us, it works! These PDFs will show you how it works in about five minutes while you have a cup of coffee.)

 Also...

Download the Wiki User's Manual -- in 50 free pages, we'll show you how to do, well, everything! Or..

About the wiki -- what's it about, what's it for?

How the wiki works -- what is a wiki anyway? What's different about this one?

How do I... --quick subject-specific tutorials. (Video tutorials are on the way.

Quickstart: up and running in 20 minutes -- a quick but comprehensive look at what goes where, and how!
