Evan lets a co-worker talk him into working a kissing booth at a charity fair. Not quite sure what to expect, he certainly doesn't count on meeting Gary, or kissing him, considering his past. Kissing is what he ends up doing, though, along with playing cow pie bingo for a good cause. Will Gary end up being more than a six-ticket ride?

I loved Cow Pie Bingo (and no, I'm not going to tell you about the title: you'll have to read this story to see what on earth 'cow pie bingo' is!). Addison Albright has a way of making a simple first-time story special. I loved the details and the fair and the flirting and kissing. First-time nerves are set against a backdrop of small-town America, an imaginary world where you know that there will be a happy ending. The joy of reading the story is seeing how the author will take us there. In a funny and romantic way, Evan and Gary are deftly characterized for us. Even in a very short story like this one, you leave smiling and satisfied.
I highly recommend this story. It will leave you smiling!
Excerpt from a Review by Whitney of "Fallen Angels Reviews"
Addison Albright’s Cow Pie Bingo is a lighthearted story about a man’s first gay experience. It is a quick but fun read and the reader can’t help but like the main character Evan. This poor guy is feeling a little bit lost, because he has been harangued into manning a kissing booth even though he’s gay. He is determined to make the best of things, which ends up paying off for him in a pretty big way, both in terms of his love life and in terms of the carnival. The charity carnival setting is very colorful and is described in terms that make it seem like a lot of fun, especially the game of cow pie bingo that has been set up. This reader had never heard of cow pie bingo before reading this story, but the thought of betting on where a cow will leave a deposit in a field strikes a funny note. Cow Pie Bingo will definitely leave readers with a grin on their face.

It wasn’t as bad as he’d imagined. The women were in playful moods, joking with him. A few had flirted outrageously with him and he knew he could have scored dates with them if he’d wanted to. The lines had mostly dissipated now, but customers still wandered by.
He glanced down at his watch. Only five more minutes … thank goodness. He looked back up and the man from the dunking booth was standing in front of his booth, grinning at him. Evan laughed. “Did you get dried off?”
“Yes, no thanks to you.” He chuckled and held out his hand. “Gary Browning.”
Evan shook his hand. “Evan Wilson. I’m pleased to meet you.”
Then Gary slapped six tickets down on the ledge of Evan’s booth and said, “I figure that’s good for either three of those little pecks you’ve been handing out, or one decent kiss … your choice.”
Evan’s mouth dropped open. Oh my God. He’s downright propositioning me. Evan had no trouble deciding which option to take. He kept his eyes on Gary’s baby blues as he picked up the tickets and carefully placed them in the collection bag. He looked down to peek at Gary’s mouth, then back up at the intense look growing in Gary’s eyes.
For the first time that afternoon, instead of leaning down from his height of six foot one to kiss one of the ladies, he stretched upwards a couple of inches and placed his lips on Gary’s … and held them there.
Then Evan moved his lips and Gary’s warm lips responded. They shared a soft kiss and a few nibbles before Evan backed away, never breaking eye contact. Gary grinned. “Promising.”
