A Promise Kept by Stormy Glenn
Thursday, June 18, 2009

Mason Phillips has been in love with Jack Spencer since he was 16 years old. After 10 years Mason decides he will never be able to be with Jack, who he thinks is straight and about to get married, so he makes plans to move away.
Days before his move Mason gets a call to pick up a drunk Jack from a bar. After getting him home they end up in bed together. The next morning Jack is shocked to wake up next to a naked Mason and gives the impression that he regrets their night together.
A brokenhearted Mason decides to move earlier than expected but ends up in a motel on a 4 day bender. In the meantime his family has reported him as a missing person. At the police department where he goes to report in he meets Detective Cooper Thomas. They become friends and along with Cooper's friends, Patrick and Neil, and his work partner Jordan, decide to help Mason learn to have fun. They also, unknown to Mason, decide to help him get together with Jack.
This was a fun book to read. Although Mason did tend to cry a bit more than I really like I still enjoyed him and the rest of the characters. Jack is a bit of a dominating Alpha but Mason quickly has him wrapped around his little finger once they get together. The sex is hot and plentiful after the first half of the book but also very loving. Throw in a crazy stalker and you've got a fun, romantic, sexy and exciting story.
